Agreement
By creating an account or using Samoa Village Market you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Who can use the platform
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
Your account
- Provide accurate information about yourself and your business.
- One person may hold one account unless we approve otherwise in writing.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms, harm other users, or are used for fraud.
Marketplace role
Samoa Village Market connects buyers, sellers, taxi drivers and taxi stations. Except where we state otherwise, we are not the seller of goods, not the provider of transport services, and not a party to the contract between you and the other person.
Listings and orders
- Sellers must describe items honestly, including condition, quantity and availability.
- Prices are shown in Samoan Tala (WST) and include any fees we display at checkout.
- Once an order is confirmed, the seller must fulfil it or cancel promptly with a reason.
Payments, fees and payouts
Platform commission and delivery fees are shown before you confirm. Funds from a sale may be held until the order is complete or a dispute is resolved. Payouts are released to the payout method on file after any hold period.
Taxi services
Drivers and stations are independently operated. Drivers must hold valid licences, permits and insurance and must keep their vehicle records current. Fares are agreed through quotes and, unless stated otherwise, are settled in cash directly with the driver.
Reviews and content
You keep ownership of what you post, and grant us a licence to display it on the platform. Do not post content that is false, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend, or close an account that breaks these terms or the law. You can close your account at any time; obligations from completed orders survive closure.
Liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by Samoan law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from transactions between users.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the platform before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Samoa.
